Overview

Under the protocol signed with ADSE, I.P., PLANAPP is carrying out a study, split into two phases, on the financial sustainability of this health subsystem. In the first phase, the study, based on aggregate ADSE data, is focused on characterising the population of beneficiaries and analysing ADSE’s sources of funding and responsibilities, and on analysing the sustainability of the health subsystem based on projections of the future evolution of its income and expenditure and accumulated financial balances. In a second phase, the study should include a survey on the factors determining the permanence of beneficiaries in the ADSE health system, as well as the development and implementation of a tool for assessing and monitoring the financial sustainability of that health system.

Objectives

• To provide information to support the definition of ADSE’s corporate governance model.
• To develop and implement a tool for monitoring the sustainability of ADSE’s healthcare system.

Duration

The project will be carried from August 2022 to December 2024.
